Siyafunda Bush Camp

The Siyafunda Bush Experience is ideal if you want to truly experience the "wild" side of Africa. The program is based in the 26,000 hectare Greater Makalali Private Game Reserve, home to the Africa's "Big Five" - lion, leopard, elephant, rhino & buffalo. You will live in the heart of Africa in your eco-friendly tented camp which is set amongst trees overlooking a water course in a magical, out-of-the-way spot, providing a real wilderness experience.

The Siyafunda Bush Experience is an amazing project on its own or also perfect after spending 2 to 4 weeks at Siyafunda Research Camp.

By day you will take part on game drives to see the fantastic Big 5 & you will go on walking safaris through the reserve, approaching wildlife on foot & learning skills essential for surviving in the bush. By night, cooking food & telling stories around an open fire, listening to the melodious sounds of the bush & sleeping under the African sky.
